Primeiro workshop em ATM do TransLab é realizado em Brasília

Na sexta-feira, 21 de agosto de 2015 ocorreu no auditório II da Finatec, o evento First TransLab Workshop on ATM: Cooperation with Boeing. O evento celebrou o início da parceria entre a Finatec e a Boeing para o desenvolvimento do projeto 4D Modeling for Efficient Flight Path with Collaborative Trajectory Option Program for Brazilian Scenarios, que será coordenado pelo professor Li Weigang, do Departamento de Ciência da Computação da Universidade de Brasília.

Estiverão presente representantes da Secretária de Aviação Civil (SAC), Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), Infraero, Associação Brasileira das Empresas Aéreas (ABEAR), Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, Universidade de Brasília (UnB), dentre outras instituições. Compuseram a mesa de abertura o Prof. Jaime Santana, Decano do Decanato de Pesquisa e Pós-graduação (DPP) da Universidade de Brasilia, o Prof. Antonio Brasil Junior, Diretor da Faculdade de Tecnologia, a Profa. Maria Emilia, representante do Instituto de Ciência Exatas e chefe do Departamento de Ciência da Computação, e o Dr. Antonini Puppin-Macedo, Diretor Geral da Boeing Brasil. 

O workshop contou com 13 apresentações de profissionais e alunos de pós-graduação do TransLab. Nesta ocasião, o Sr. Jose A Fregnani, da Boeing Brasil, apresentou a estratégia da Boeing no Brasil; o Prof. Jorge Almeida apresentou as pesquisas do Grupo de Análise de Segurança (GAS) da Escola Politécnica da USP (Poli-USP), e o Sr. João Luiz apresentou as pesquisas em ATM do Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).

No final, o Dr. Antonini Puppin-Macedo e o Prof. Li Weigang encerraram o evento agradecendo os palestrantes e os participantes.

--Seminário ATM SIRIUS - National seminar of Brazilian ATM development will be conducted from 14 to 17 October 2013, in Rio de Janeiro, organized by the Department of Air Space Control – DECEA of Brazilian Air Force. Prof. Li Weigang (and Vitor Ribeiro) of TransLab/UnB was invited by the organizer for a special talk about the Game Theory in Collaborative Decision Making to Determinate the Take-off Sequence in Airport. --Team TransLab of UnB wins Alibaba 2013 Challenge as second. The competition is among 40 teams from worldwide. The paper is: E-commerce Game Model: balancing platform service fees with vendor profitability, by Zheng Jianya, Daniel L. Li, Patrick K. Cisuaka, Li Weigang, Hangzhou, September 2013.

--Professor Lorna Uden visited TransLab from July 1 to 13 for establish the cooperation between institutions. She is from Facility of Computing, Engineering and Technology (FCET), Staffordshire University, UK. During her visit, she did an excellent talk about Co-creation of value in service innovation in the Department of Computer Science of the University of Brasilia.

--Team UnB wins the WISE Challenge 2013 WIKI Track T1 by the precision. The paper will be published in the Proceedings of WISE 2013 as LNCS.
